To enroll in ZCS, your child must be five (5) years old by August 1, 2024, and you must reside within the school district boundaries and provide the following documentation:

 

Required Enrollment Documents
A. Two of the following pieces of proof of residency:  two original, different current utility bills (e.g.: gas, electric,   water, sewer).  Cell phone bill or driver’s license are not acceptable.
OR
 
one current utility bill and one of the following:
      • signed rental agreement with date of occupancy
      • signed purchase agreement with closing date
      • signed closing documents
      • signed letter from builder (on letterhead) with closing date  
 
B. State-issued original birth certificate or current passport
 
C. Immunization records
*All documentation is subject to verification.

 

Kindergarten pre-registration is now open.  Once you have pre-registered your child in PowerSchool, you will receive information from your building principal with directions to sign up for the Kindergarten Round-Up session at your elementary school.  Slots for this event fill up quickly.  You will also be prompted at a later date to complete district enrollment.

Kindergarten Round-Up will take place at all ZCS Elementary Schools on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. 

The first day of school is August 13, 2024.  A 2024-25 school calendar can be found here. 

Your child will attend one of six ZCS elementary schools.
